The American Heart Association of Central Pennsylvania named Laura White and Cynthia Yingling co-chairwomen of the 2014 York Go Red for Women Luncheon. White is outpatient clinical dietitian with WellSpan Heart and Vascular. She is a registered dietitian with more than 17 years of experience. Yingling is a nurse with WellSpan's cardiac rehabilitation and women's heart program and provides health assessments and prevention and early detection programs.
Lancaster-based Casa of Lancaster County Inc., which provides court-appointed volunteers who advocate for abused and neglected children, named Kayla Weiler program director. She was a case supervisor and has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in social work from Millersville University.
The Cultural Alliance of York County elected Larry Miller chairman, Mark Ottemiller vice chairman, Rick Hogentogler treasurer and David Kennedy secretary. Miller is president of PeoplesBank, Ottemiller is president of NuTec Design Associates, Hogentogler is a certified public accountant with Stambaugh-Ness PC and Kennedy is CEO of appMobi. Paula Vitz was elected to the board. She is vice president and business development director with Capital Associates.
