The workload in the Philadelphia region continues to grow for East Hempfield Township-based Warfel Construction Co.

Activity has gotten so strong that the Lancaster County firm opened a Chester County office in Malvern back in November.

Warfel has several active projects in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Northampton counties. And this week it announced a contract to build a new dealership for YBH Audi in Devon, which is in Chester County.

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The two-story Audi dealership, which is slated for a December completion, will be 43,000 square feet and include a showroom, service shop, reception areas and a car wash, according to Warfel.

It will be the first flagship terminal for Audi of America in the Philadelphia market.

"In addition to the YBH Audi project, Warfel completed the Lancaster CarMax, recently completed the Newark, Del., facility, and we are currently nearing completion of the Frederick, Md., CarMax as well," said Jen Saltzer, director of client services.
