Washington, D.C.- based Manufacturing Institute recognized Lancaster County Career and Technology Center for its outstanding welding and electromechanical engineering technology/mechatronics programs. The school uses employer input to continually upgrade its programs.

Middletown-based Apartment Association of Central PA named Megan Frye of Desouza Brown's The Meadows at Bumble Bee Hollow its Leasing Professional of the Year. Megan Varano of High Associates' Greenfield Estates placed second. Ron Kilby and Brett Dombach of High's Bentley Ridge apartments were named Maintenance Technicians of the Year. Bobby Zavala of Solomon Organization's Quail Run and Peter Torres of Madison at Woodland Plaza tied for second, and Bill Christ of Triple Crown Corp.'s Whisperwood Apartments placed third. Kelly White of Pennsylvania Place was named Maintenance Supervisor of the Year. Shawn Daily of Madison Green Valley and Parktowne placed second, and Andy Hoff of Morgan Properties' Oxford Manor came in third. Teams from Pennsylvania Place and Horst Realty's Briarcrest Gardens were named Maintenance Teams of the Year. Desouza Brown's Treeview Apartments placed second, and Solomon's Quail Run and Stone Mill Station tied for third. Vanessa Cabrea of Solomon's Berkshire Hills was named Rookie of the Year, and Pedro Arroyo of Solomon's Belair Townhouses came in second. Heather Iannantuono of Triple Crown Corp. was named MVP of the Year, and Nancy Miller of Madison at Greenview Terrace came in second. Jeremy Devlin of Madison Apartment Group was named Regional Manager of the Year. Katherine Smith of Briarwood was named Property Manager of the Year, and Laura Appleman of Madison Apartment Group's Madison Victoria Crossing came in second. Madison Apartment Group was named Property Management Company of the Year. Lincoln Properties' Residences at Seven Gables placed first in website excellence, with Morgan's Camp Hill Plaza second and Solomon's Quail Run third. Curb appeal, leasing, maintenance and overall awards were given to 62 communities in 13 categories based on community size and age. B&F Properties' Crest at Elm Tree ranked first in its category in curb appeal and overall; Meridian West Shore and Charleston Townhomes ranked first in leasing; The Highlands at Warwick ranked second in curb appeal and leasing; and Chateau Terrace ranked second in curb appeal. Boyd Wilson's The Village of Old Hickory ranked first in maintenance, and Pioneer Woods and Windsor Commons ranked second in curb appeal. CLK's The Pines Apartments ranked second in leasing. Desouza Brown's The Reserve at Hershey Meadows and Spring Valley ranked first in curb appeal, maintenance and overall, and second in leasing; The Gardens at Hershey Meadows ranked first in leasing and second in curb appeal and overall; The Terraces at Springford ranked first in leasing and second overall; Meadows at Bumble Bee Hollow ranked first in leasing; Treeview Apartments ranked second in maintenance and overall; and Crooked Hill Townhomes and Spring Ridge ranked second in curb appeal. High Associates' Greenfield Estates ranked first in all four areas, and Bentley Ridge ranked first in curb appeal, maintenance and overall. Horst Realty's Briarcrest Gardens ranked first overall; Kamson's Governor Mifflin Apartments ranked first in curb appeal and second in maintenance; Kettler Property Management's Chelsea Village ranked first in leasing, and Lincoln Properties' The Residences at Seven Gables ranked first in maintenance and second in curb appeal, leasing and overall. Solomon Organization's Kensington Club ranked first in leasing; Stone Mill Station ranked first in maintenance; Quail Run ranked second in maintenance and overall; Belair Townhomes and Wilshire Hills ranked second in curb appeal; Mayfair Manor ranked second in leasing; and Greenland Village ranked second in maintenance. Springford Apartments ranked second in all categories. Statewide Management's Sunpointe Townhomes ranked second in leasing, maintenance and overall; and Hawthorne Gardens ranked second in maintenance. The Manor Group's Powder Mill Apartments ranked first in curb appeal, maintenance and overall; Springetts Apartments ranked second in leasing and overall; and Manor House Apartments ranked second in leasing.
