Messiah Lifeways opened a 3,500-square-foot community center at its Mount Joy Country Homes community for adults aged 55 and older. The community center includes a fitness center, library, therapy suite, full kitchen and commons area large enough to accommodate more than 70 residents. Also completed as part of the $3.3 million project were 12 additional cottages featuring single-story living, wider doorways and hallways, energy-efficient design and walk-in showers for greater ease and accessibility.
Pennsylvania Nurses Association leased 3,404 square feet of office space at 3605 Vartan Way in Susquehanna Township from The Vartan Group. Landmark Oncor International represented the landlord.
Upper Allen Township-based Strock Enterprises Inc. opened The Catering Barn events facility on its premises. The 175-year-old restored barn is constructed of chestnut, oak, pine and cherry lumber, using as many of the original features and materials as possible. Restoration took a little over a year to complete.
NHS Pennsylvania leased a 2,753-square-foot office suite at 801 East Park Drive in Lower Paxton Township from Patriot Investment Associates. NAI CIR of Wormleysburg represented the owner.
Professional Properties LLC purchased the Aldwyn Court Apartments at 1001 Spring St. in Lower Swatara Township from The Kathryn Blair Knox Trust et al. Landmark Commercial Realty, Inc./Oncor International of East Pennsboro Township represented the seller.
