In brief: Bon-Ton closing Wisconsin store

By

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. is closing its Boston Store Harbor Center in Sheboygan, Wis.

The company, with corporate offices in York County and Milwaukee, acquired the leasehold interests as part of its Northern Department Store Group acquisition in 2006.

The department store business will terminate its lease as of the end of January and the store will close then, according to a news release.

The Bon-Ton Stores operates more than 270 department stores, which includes 10 furniture galleries, under the Bon-Ton, Boston Store and other nameplates. Shares are traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol BONT.
