Harrisburg's biggest eyesore, the Capitol View Commerce Center, sold today in federal bankruptcy court.

Moran Industries of Watsontown, Northumberland County, is the new owner.

Here's a look at what happened at this morning's hearing:

Moran Industries President John Moran Jr. said his company plans to invest about $10 million to finish the facility, which he hopes to occupy by next summer.

Cumberland County developer Dan Deitchman, owner of Brickbox Enterprises Ltd., who was working with the Harrisburg Police Athletic League to acquire the property, was not immediately available for comment.

PAL President Jennie Jenkins said she couldn't comment, but that they were "working through it."

Moran said he has not been contacted by anyone from the PAL about a possible lease arrangement.

"That's something I would take a look at. Our company has a strong commitment to the community," he said. "I am open to it."
