A new business association catering to veterans will open an office in Cumberland County this afternoon.

To correspond with Veterans Day, the Pennsylvania Veterans Chamber of Commerce will hold a grand opening of its new office and Veterans Connection Center at 20 S. 36th St. in Hampden Township.

The event will run from 3 to 6 p.m. The group held a ribbon-cutting at the Capitol on Oct. 17 to signal the start of the organization.

The office will house the staff, a reading library and conference room to be used as a facility for day seminars and community event planning. The chamber offers individual and business memberships and is dedicated to networking businesses and individuals for the purpose of resourcing veterans.

For more information on the new organization or the new office, visit the chamber website or Facebook page or call James Barbush, the chamber's community director, at 717-514-5549.
