West Manchester Mall owners plan estimated $47M in redevelopment

By

One of the partners who acquired the West Manchester Mall in York County last year said today an estimated $47 million in redevelopment is planned for the property, including partial demolition.

Tony Ruggeri said anchor stores would remain but that part of the structure will be torn down to create outdoor plaza space, and stores would have outside entrances.

Pad sites also would be developed, he said.

Ruggeri and Frank Mihalopoulos are partners in the firm M&R Investors LLC, based in Texas. The formal ownership entity for the mall is Manchester Mall Associates LLC.

The property is on Loucks Road in West Manchester Township, where redevelopment was expected after previous owners announced it was on the market in 2011.
