A noted economist will be in Harrisburg next week to talk about the city's economic outlook.
Joel Naroff, president of Bucks County-based Naroff Economic Advisors, will be the keynote speaker Nov. 6 at the Harrisburg Business Leaders Luncheon at the National Civil War Museum in Reservoir Park hosted by Metro Bank.
Naroff will provide insight on the state of the economy both locally and nationally, and talk about the future prospects as well. His speech also will include thoughts on the current conditions and how they affect the Harrisburg community.
Naroff advises on domestic and international economic issues and trends, and was the first independent economist to win the CBS MarketWatch Economist of the Month award. He's made numerous trips to the midstate and written guest columns for the Central Penn Business Journal.
Metro Bank executives, including Gary Nalbandian, the bank's chairman, president and CEO, will be at the event as well.
The presentation is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., with a meet-and-greet at 11:30 a.m. and buffet lunch served at noon. The museum is at 1 Lincoln Circle in the park.
Reservations for the free event are due Wednesday and must be sent to email@example.com.
