Millersville University named Brian Hazlett vice president for enrollment management. He has more than 16 years of admissions experience, most recently as interim associate vice provost for enrollment management. Previously, he was assistant vice president and director of university admissions with Towson University. He has bachelor's and master's degrees from Binghamton University.
University Center at Harrisburg Inc. elected Jeffrey R. Boswell of Boswell Tintner & Piccola president, E. Garrett Brinton vice president, Dean W. Wharton of Financial Planning Associates treasurer and Jewel A. Cooper of Susquehanna Bank secretary. Janice R. Black of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, Joseph T. Cawley of Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Gloria E. Martin-Roberts and Jeannine D. Peterson of Hamilton Health Center Inc. were elected to the board.
The Eagle Foundation, which supports and supplements programming in Cumberland Valley School District, elected Wayne Pecht president and Jay Abom vice president. Annette Eyer and Jonathan Zody were elected to the board. Eyer is a stakeholder relations director with Cullari Communications Global and has two daughters enrolled within the district. Zody is vice president of employee benefits with Alpha Benefits. He is a CV graduate and has a daughter attending Silver Spring Elementary. Barbara Geistwhite, a member of the school district board, was elected school board liaison to the foundation. She was a teacher prior to retirement.
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology named James E. Nevels a trustee. He is chairman of The Swarthmore Group and The Hershey Co.
