The newest Chick-fil-A in the midstate opened for business this morning in York County just months after the first standalone-format location of the restaurant chain came to the York market.

The Chick-fil-A at 2801 E. Market St. in Springettsbury Township brings with it about 75 jobs, according to the York County Economic Alliance.

In April, a location opened on Route 30 at the former site of a Lone Star Steakhouse in York.

Quick-serve chicken restaurant chain Chick-fil-A has more than 1,700 locations and hit sales of more than $4.6 billion for 2012, according to its website. Chick-fil-A Inc. is headquartered in Georgia.
