Auction of $68M portfolio delayed

By ,

A federal auction of a midstate office portfolio has been postponed until Dec. 6, according to the U.S. Marshals Service in Harrisburg.

The 16-property lot owned by Corporate Gateway LP was scheduled to hit the block last week. No reason was given for the delay.

The properties in Cumberland and Dauphin counties are nearly $68 million in debt and are spread among four business parks.

The sale is the result of a foreclosure by U.S. Bank last October, court records show.

It is likely the bank will retain ownership of the properties as a buyer would have to pay the full amount due in the sale.
