CAHWF rebrands as Partnership for Better Health, emphasizes entire region

The Carlisle Area Health & Wellness Foundation, which invests more than $2 million in community health initiatives and grants annually, has rebranded as the Partnership for Better Health.

The organization was created in 2001 through the sale of Carlisle Hospital and Health Services Inc.

“While Carlisle, without question, remains central to our heritage and service area, our responsibilities span well beyond our borders to our neighbors in other parts of Cumberland, Perry, Adams and Franklin Counties,” Sue Otway, the foundation’s board chairwoman, said in a news release. “As we confront new and evolving health challenges on the horizon, partnership will become ever more important.”

The organization said the new name, logo, tagline, website and visual identity crystallize its “collaboration with local and regional organizations to provide access to affordable, quality health care and promote healthy lifestyles throughout our communities.”

According to Partnership for Better Health, a grant from IBM was instrumental in the rebranding, as a team of IBM marketers visited the foundation last fall and made a series of recommendations to strengthen its marketing materials. Vault Communications helped to develop the new brand.
