Hersha Hospitality Trust has completed the sale of a 127-room Holiday Inn Express in Maryland for the aggregate sale price of $8.5 million, the company said last month.

The firm acquired the Camp Springs property in 2008.

Hersha, with corporate offices in Harrisburg and Philadelphia, is a self-advised real estate investment trust that owns interests in hotels primarily from Boston to Washington, D.C.

Also last month, the firm announced plans to sell 16 noncore hotels, including its remaining four properties in Central Pennsylvania.

Shares of Hersha Hospitality Trust are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HT.
