Matthew T. Bono's dual passions are both meaningful and provide value to the community. "People who know me from my professional life as a CPA are surprised to learn that I have been a volunteer firefighter for over 21 years," he said. "People who know me from my involvement as a volunteer firefighter are surprised to learn that I am a CPA."
Bono started his own lawn-mowing business as a teenager, and that first job taught him the basics of a service-oriented profession: "taking pride in your work, being dependable and meeting customers expectations," he said.
Bono has been with Walz, Deihm, Geisenberger, Bucklen & Tennis, P.C. since 2007. He works closely with clients to design and implement accounting procedures, analyze financial statements, advise on accounting software purchases and installations, and presents complex financial information to business owners and boards of directors for review and action.
