After graduating with a degree in administration of justice, Mark R. DiGiamberdini was recruited by a private investigator as a "secret shopper." After private investigation and a job in security at Barnes Hall Juvenile Detention Facility, he identified his entrepreneurial spirit and realized a change was needed. He moved on to Acordia (Wells Fargo), servicing mid- to large-size commercial accounts, and eventually began The Summit Firm, Inc., a full-service, independent, property casualty and employee benefits insurance agency. This latest career move has proven to be life-changing.
Serving his community has always been a passion, and the organizations for which he has served have benefited greatly. DiGiamberdini has served meals at the Water Street Rescue Mission, volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and shared professional advice in teaching at Assets. As a recent graduate of Leadership Lancaster, DiGiamberdini became an active board member of Meals on Wheels of Lancaster and is also the organization's fundraising chair.
