A proposed Lebanon County distribution facility is a finalist to bring in a company that could offer more than 1,000 jobs.

The Lebanon Valley Distribution Center in Fredericksburg is one of three sites to which an unnamed company is considering moving a major portion of its operation, according to Joseph Achenbach, an associate at Trammell Crow Company’s West Conshohocken office, which is handling the development of the site.

If the company chooses the site, Trammell Crow would develop a 1-million-square-foot facility at the build-to-suit site along Route 22 in Fredericksburg. Achenbach talked about the potential of the company moving there during a private bus tour of available Lebanon County manufacturing locations this week.

The company would bring in about 1,200 jobs, according to Achenbach.

He said he hopes to hear within the next two months about whether the site has been chosen.
