Commonwealth Court Judge Bonnie Brigance Leadbetter today confirmed the amended recovery plan for cash-strapped Harrisburg.

An order could come tomorrow or Monday.

The result marks the beginning of the end for a capital city that has been burdened by its incinerator debt.

There is a 30-day appeal period, but none are expected as no objections were filed ahead of the hearing.

Bond market pricing would follow on the asset deals. That could take a few weeks with deals slated for a mid-November completion, according to receiver William Lynch and his team.

Check back shortly for more information.
