Amerigreen expanding into New Jersey, New York natural-gas markets

By

Lancaster County-based Amerigreen Energy Inc. is expanding into natural-gas markets in New Jersey and New York and has hired an industry veteran for the effort.

Bob Reicher, the company’s new natural-gas director, has more than 20 years of industry experience such as in deregulated natural-gas markets, according to a news release.

Amerigreen is officially starting to market the service in new territories this fall, said Aubrey Bauman Kreider, the company’s marketing manager.

New Jersey and New York are part of the footprint Amerigreen already covers with other services, she said.

East Lampeter Township-based Amerigreen is a wholesale provider of domestic energy in the Mid-Atlantic and New England areas.

In addition, direct-to-consumer electricity and natural gas is available to customers outside coverage areas of distributors, the release stated.
