World Trade Center Harrisburg has announced that it will host all 23 of Pennsylvania's overseas trade office representatives for a day of one-on-one company appointments Friday, Sept. 20.
The event will be 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Eden Resort in Lancaster, in conjunction with Pennsylvania’s Office of International Business Development during Pennsylvania International Week. There is a cost, and registration is required at wtccentralpa.org/upcoming-events or by calling 717-848-1090.
In the morning, Fulton International Group will present a seminar, “Managing Foreign Exchange and Payments in Global Markets,” with a focus on transactions in the Middle East.
The keynote luncheon presentation, “Opportunities and Challenges in the Arab Gulf,” will be given by Bhavna Tahilramani, business development manager from Pennsylvania’s Arab Gulf office. Tahilramani will discuss opportunities for companies in Arab countries and tips for doing business in the region.
Pennsylvania has trade representatives in the following countries: Arab Gulf, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China (Beijing and Shanghai), Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and Vietnam.
