Lancaster County Commissioner Scott F. Martin announced this morning that all parties involved in the Lancaster County Convention Center are drawing close to finalizing a plan that would set funding arrangements for five years and marketing arrangements for seven years.
The plan has been in the works for about a year, Martin said, and involves concessions on all sides. Its goals are to put the center's funding on more stable ground, keep the center vibrant and increase marketing efforts to aid it and the county's economy.
The plan does not include an increase in the county's hotel tax, which is currently at 3.9 percent.
