PNC Bank has updated 3,600 ATMs with new technology, including nearly 100 ATMs in Central Pennsylvania.

The bank said its new DepositEasy system, which allows customers to deposit stacks of cash or checks immediately without an envelope at any time, has been added to 94 of its ATMs in the region.

The new system also will dispense $1 bills, allow for personalized ATM preferences through online banking, make cash available immediately from check deposits made before 9 p.m. and show a picture of the check on the receipt.

The upgrades are available at half of PNC’s ATMs nationwide.

Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol PNC.
