Kinsley Construction joint venture lands $39M Aberdeen construction

York County-based Kinsley Construction Inc.'s joint venture with Maryland-based Grunley Construction Co. Inc. has been awarded a $39.4 million contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for construction work at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Kinsley Grunley Join Venture will be building facilities at the Maryland military base in the one-time contract, according to the Department of Defense.

Kinsley Construction is the general contractor for the expansion of industrial electronics manufacturer Phoenix Contact USA’s facilities in Lower Swatara Township, Dauphin County.

Grunley Construction was the general contractor on the World War II Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and also is working on the repairs to the Washington Monument.
