Five Guys expanding into development in Shrewsbury

By

A Five Guys Burgers and Fries is coming to southern York County at a new development near Interstate 83, according to York-based Bennett Williams Realty Inc.

Five Guys Enterprises LLC has leased about 2,450 square feet of space in the Shrewsbury market, Bennett Williams said.

The restaurant will be in the new Messina Highlands in Shrewsbury Township that’s been under development just west of exit 4 of I-83, said Bennett Williams President and CEO Chad Stine, who represented the tenant in the transaction.

The location would be the first in the Shrewsbury area for Five Guys, Stine said.

Launched in the Washington, D.C., area in 1986, Five Guys has grown to more than 1,000 locations nationwide, according to its website.
