Susquehanna Township-based Pennsylvania Credit Union Association named Michael Williams of its Erie Chapter the association's 2013 Credit Union Youth Ambassador for Pennsylvania. Williams is 23 years old and director of business development with Erie County-based Widget Federal Credit Union. He has a bachelor's degree in public relations from Edinboro University. Rebekah Frischkorn, 23, of the Harrisburg Chapter was named first alternate. She was a marketing specialist with AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union in Upper Allen Township. Nicholas Jones, 25, of the North West Susquehanna Chapter was named second alternate. He is a member service representative with Lycoming County-based Service 1st Federal Credit Union. The other finalists were Delvin Turner of Keystone United Methodist Federal Credit Union, representing the Beaver Valley Chapter; Nicole Buoni of Sun East Federal Credit Union, representing the Delaware County Chapter; Doug Raible of Westmoreland Community Federal Credit Union, representing the Greensburg Chapter; Margaret McCarthy of Citadel Federal Credit Union, representing the Lan-Chester Chapter; Marcelina Hollender of TruMark Financial Credit Union, representing the Montgomery County Chapter; Jennifer Moore of Freedom Credit Union, representing the Philadelphia Chapter; Ashley Price of Clearview Federal Credit Union, representing the Pittsburgh Chapter; Kayla-Rose Perrier of CTCE Federal Credit Union, representing the Schuylkill Valley Chapter; Katelyn Huling of Horizon Federal Credit Union, representing the Susquehanna Valley Chapter; Zachary Canfield of P&G Mehoopany Employees Federal Credit Union, representing the Wyoming Valley Chapter; and Olivia McClure of First Capital Federal Credit Union, representing the York Chapter.


Chicago-based Institute of Real Estate Management named Chris Seitz a certified property manager. He is vice chairman of Bennett Williams Realty Inc. of York.


YTI Career Institute gave Lucy Hunsberger its 2013 Beacon Award in recognition of her respect for individuals, integrity, teamwork and excellence. She is program coordinator of the medical assisting program at YTI Capital Region. She has a decade of experience and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in health care administration from Central Penn College.


East Pennsboro Township-based United Way of the Capital Region gave Nancy Dering Mock its Excellence in Leadership award for her outstanding support of United Way and the community. 2012 campaign fundraising awards were given to a number of local companies, including The Hershey Co., Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Co., Highmark Blue Shield, Penn National Insurance, Penn State Harrisburg, Penn State Milton S. Microsoft gave Lancaster-based eBecs North America its Microsoft Enterprise Resource Planning Partner of the Year award in recognition of its innovative and unique sales, services, solutions and support of Microsoft Dynamics AX, as well as its strong new-customer and revenue growth.
