Tait acquires Stage Technologies, Delstar Engineering

By

Lancaster County-based Tait has acquired Stage Technologies and Delstar Engineering, calling the deal a merger of the world's market leaders in automation, engineering and staging in the live entertainment industry.

Stage Technologies was founded in 1994 in the United Kingdom and was one of the world’s first dedicated theater automation specialists, according to a news release.

It recently joined forces with staging engineering specialist Delstar Engineering, and the Stage Technologies Group has offices in the United Kingdom, Las Vegas, Macau, Hong King and Australia, according to the release.

In the coming months, the companies will be working to provide their combined client base with integrated services.

Tait has been building touring systems since 1978 for top acts such as U2, The Rolling Stones and Metallica; it also has offices around the world.
