Atlanta-based Moe's Southwest Grill, a Mexican fast-casual franchise, has opened its first location on the West Shore.

The growing chain opened its doors last month at 6416 Carlisle Pike in Silver Spring Square in Silver Spring Township.

The new location is owned by franchise partner Kim Gadjo, who also owns the Moe's restaurant in High Pointe Commons in Swatara Township. She plans to open two additional locations in the area in the coming years, according to a company news release.

Moe's is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The chain has more than 500 locations in the U.S. and abroad.
