Rich Valley to add employees with mini-golf expansion

By

Rich Valley Golf in Cumberland County will open its mini-golf expansion on July 26 and plans to add employees as part of the business's ongoing growth.

The Silver Spring Township golf course is adding the mini-golf to complement its three-hole starter course, 18-hole "championship" course, driving range and Nolo's Bar & Restaurant facilities, said Rich Valley's Amy Fernandez. It will be one more golf option for the entire family, she said.

Rich Valley also plans to add four people to its staff as part of the mini-golf expansion, she said. Rich Valley employs about 15 people.

If you're thinking this mini-golf will have windmills, clowns, dinosaurs or any of the other classic accessories, think again. The course is landscaped to mimic a full-scale golf course, complete with working rough to slow down your game, Fernandez said.
