The Central Penn Business Journal is listing Central Pennsylvania's top private companies in our Aug. 9 Top 100 issue. As part of this special issue, we plan to highlight some of the men and women running Central Pennsylvania's top private companies.

The Top 100 companies will appear in print and the Top 250 will be available on our website. Click here to see last year’s Top 100 issue or you can view last year’s Top 250 here.

This year, we’re also asking the area’s top CEOs for information about their favorite books and quotes, both business and nonbusiness related. If you haven’t received or completed a survey yet, click here to get one.

There is no charge to participate in any Business Journal list, and you do not have to be a Journal advertiser or subscriber to be listed. To be considered, all you have to do is complete a survey.

Completing a survey doesn’t guarantee a spot on the list — that depends on how many companies submit information and where your company falls in the ranking compared with the other companies — but information from all companies that submit surveys is available on our website, www.CBPJnow.com/ListCentral. Blank surveys are available at www.CPBJsurveys.info.

If you used to get survey emails from us, and haven’t seen one in a while, try adding lists@centralpennbusiness.com (our database return address) and centralpennbusiness@datajoe.com (our server address) to your email address book or company whitelist. Also, send an email to lists@centralpennbusiness.com and let us know what surveys you’d like to receive — perhaps your email address is out of date in our system.
