The YorIt Social Venture Challenge has awarded two organizations each a share of $26,500 in funding for this year, according to a news release from the York County Community Foundation.

The awards are $20,000 to CoWork 155 for its co-working and community gathering space in downtown York and $6,500 to YorShoppes to create pop-up retail space for multiple users under one roof.

YorIt is a growing organization of young philanthropists and an initiative of the foundation.
