Swatara Township-based Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association elected Drs. Christopher D. Olson president, Robert S. Dolansky Jr. president-elect, Michael J. Zawisza vice president and William A. Wewer secretary and treasurer. Olson is a family physician with Family Practice Center PC in Shamokin Dam, Snyder County, and president of the medical staff with Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Union County. He is a graduate of Bucknell University and Des Moines University’s Osteopathic Medical Center College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. Dolansky is director of osteopathic medical education with St. Luke’s University Health Network and director of medical education at St. Luke’s Hospital Allentown campus. He is a graduate of Penn State University, St. Joseph’s University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Zawisza is in private practice in Schuylkill County, and he also is director of Covenant Home Health Care and Hospice in Pottsville. He is a graduate of the University of Sciences’ College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia and PCOM. Wewer is a partner with Family Practice Center PC in Steelton and on staff with PinnacleHealth System. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and PCOM. Dr. Jeffery J. Dunkelberger was elected vice speaker of the House of Delegates. He is a family physician with RedCedar Family Practice in Lewisberry, and a team physician for East Pennsboro Area School District. He is a graduate of Penn State and PCOM.
