CVB: 40th annual street rod event comes with estimated $2 million additional impact

The 40th annual Street Rod Nationals East Plus in York County is expected to generate about $2 million more in economic impact compared with last year, according to the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Organizers are anticipating more people for the milestone event, bureau spokeswoman Allison Freeman said. The economic impact anticipated for this year is about $7 million compared with about $5 million last year, she said.

The event is scheduled for May 31 to June 2 and is presented by the National Street Rod Association, according to a news release.
