PennDOT says it will not discuss the public-private partnership applications coming into its office until some point after the deadline for this round of proposals.
“We plan to provide an update after the period is closed,” PennDOT spokeswoman Erin Waters-Trasatt said in an email. “We will share information at that point, because we don’t want to influence any potential proposals.”
The state asked for unsolicited P3 proposals from companies at the beginning of the month.
Capital Area Transit recently said it has received a proposal from a company to use a P3 for construction of a new operations center for the bus authority that serves Cumberland and Dauphin counties. CAT plans to submit that proposal to the state P3 board for review.
