Drew Hostetter, chief financial officer and executive vice president at Susquehanna Bancshares Inc., will retire at the end of the year, the Lititz-based parent of Susquehanna Bank said Tuesday.

He will be succeeded by Michael Harrington, treasurer and executive vice president, who joined the bank last year, Susquehanna said. He has more than 25 years of experience, including a tenure as CFO and treasurer at First Niagara Financial Group.

Hostetter joined Susquehanna as assistant treasurer in 1995 after 19 years in accounting and at a regional bank in Maryland. He became CFO in 1996.

Susquehanna Bank has more than $18 billion in assets and more than 250 branches in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Its shares trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol SUSQ.
