West Shore Window & Door Inc. has added 40 employees to its Central Pennsylvania staff, well on its way to hit employment expectations it set last year.
Lower Allen Township-based West Shore, which installs windows and doors, has added 12 full-time and 28 part-time employees since last year, said Orlando Cleaves, human resources representative.
Those numbers don't include its Maryland and Virginia offices, he said.
The company said in August, when it broke ground on a new office, that it's been growing because of work in replacement windows, doors, siding and garage doors. At the time, it expected to add 20 full-time employees this year.
Today, it employs more than 80 total in the midstate. West Shore had 2012 revenue of $12 million, a 79 percent increase from the previous year, according to Business Journal records.
On May 4, the company is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its new office.
