Businesses featured this week: Aligning Forces for Quality — South Central PA, Leg Up Farm

York-based Aligning Forces for Quality — South Central PA named Kathy Hutcheson consumer engagement coordinator. She will lead the nonprofit's Patient Partner program and It's Your Health…Take Charge! initiative. She was employed with the Susan P. Byrnes Health Education Center and Highmark Blue Shield. She has a BS in marketing from York College, an MBA from Loyola University in Maryland and an MS in health administration from the University of Baltimore.

East Manchester Township-based Leg Up Farm, a nonprofit therapy center for children with special needs, named Jennifer Knight vice president of operations. She has more than 20 years of experience in the disability community and will oversee day-to-day operations, including the programming, insurance, scheduling and billing. Valerie Acosta was named marketing and sponsorship coordinator. She was a volunteer coordinator and executive assistant. Jennifer Hitz was named grants coordinator. She will pursue grant opportunities, maintain relationships with current funders and provide grant reporting.
