Dentsply, Harsco name new chief financial officers

Midstate companies Dentsply International Inc. and Harsco Corp. today announced new chief financial officers for their respective firms.

York-based dental products company Dentsply said Chris Clark is assuming the role of president and chief financial officer, according to a news release.

Clark served for the past six years as president and chief operating officer and joined Dentsply in 1993, the release stated.

Dentsply also announced Jim Mosch, currently executive vice president, will be promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer, according to the release.

The moves come as William Jellison has resigned as senior vice president and chief financial officer to pursue another business interest, the release stated.

Shares of Dentsply are traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol XRAY.

Cumberland County-based Harsco Corp., a diversified global industrial company, has named F. Nicholas Grasberger senior vice president and chief financial officer effective April 22, according to a news release.

Grasberger most recently was managing director of the multinational Precision Polymers Division of Fenner PLC, which produces heavyweight belting for industrial and commercial markets, the release stated.

His experience includes as chief financial officer of Armstrong Holdings Inc., according to the release. It was the former parent of Lancaster County-based Armstrong World Industries Inc.

Shares of Harsco are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol HSC.
