Holy Spirit Heath System celebrated its 50th anniversary with two events — one Saturday for donors, and one Monday for media. HSHS also has grown considerably, now boasting more than 2,800 total employees.

Finally, if you're itching to make your voice heard, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is holding a public vote on six innovations from its employees, including "Connecting to Combat Alzheimers" and "The Body Weight Simulator." Voting ends Friday.
