Elizabethtown's MoviE-Town theater up for sale

The eight-screen MoviE-Town movie theater in Elizabethtown is on the market for $2.2 million, according to a listing with NAI Commercial-Industrial Realty, or NAI CIR.

The nearly 30,000-square-foot facility at 700 N. Hanover St. sits on 3.5 acres. It was built in 1966 and renovated in 1999.

The property is assessed at a little more than $2 million, according to the Lancaster County Property Assessment office.

The theater remains open for business, according to posted screenings online. The asking price includes everything associated with the theater.

Owner Barry Garman was not immediately available for comment.
