PinnacleHealth plans 'topping off' for Harrisburg Hospital

By - Last modified: January 14, 2013 at 9:35 AM

Harrisburg-based PinnacleHealth System is scheduled to hold a “topping off” celebration at Harrisburg Hospital at noon today.

The downtown hospital has been undergoing an expansion project as part of the health system’s $150 million Vision 2017, a multiyear plan that also includes improvements at Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Lower Paxton Township and a new acute care campus on the West Shore.

The Harrisburg Hospital project includes new floors that house expanded cardiac services, including a catheterization lab and cardiothoracic intensive care unit, as well as increased privacy for patients and better amenities for families.

Harrisburg-based Reynolds Construction Management Inc. oversaw the construction.
