Conrad Siegel Actuaries, delivering comprehensive employee benefits services, today announced its successful completion of the Type 2 Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 examination.
Independent CPA firm Brightline CPAs & Associates, Inc facilitated the exam to determine that Conrad Siegel Actuaries’ defined benefit and defined contribution administration services adhere to the required standards and have controls in place to assure the quality of their work. The review period was from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012.
The SSAE 16 examination is an attestation standard from the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to establish requirements and guidance for reporting on controls relevant to Conrad Siegel Actuaries’ internal control over financial reporting. The controls addressed are implemented to prevent, detect or correct errors or omissions in the information it provides.
“This examination assures Conrad Siegel Actuaries’ commitment to following the highest professional standards,’ said John Jeffrey, Conrad Siegel Actuaries partner and chairman to the business development committee. “We work hard to earn the trust of our clients and continually perform this exam to ensure our quality of work.”
