LGH will lease new outpatient facility in Chester County

Arcadia Properties LLC announced this morning that Lancaster General Health will lease most of a facility Arcadia is developing in Parkesburg, Chester County.

The 40,000-square-foot center at 950 Octorara Trail will house physician offices, lab testing, diagnostic imaging and urgent care for minor emergencies. Completion is scheduled for 2013.

The Bethlehem office of Scranton-based Burkavage Design Associates designed the facility, and Alexander Building Construction Co. of Harrisburg is constructing it.

Arcadia, based in Bethlehem, is a developer in Eastern Pennsylvania. Arcadia's Health Care Development Partners, which is managing the project, offers feasibility analysis, site evaluation and selection, ownership options, approvals, master-plan development, project financing, value engineering, core and shell construction, space planning, tenant construction, building management and leasing.

Lancaster General Healthis a regional nonprofit health care system based in Lancaster. It expects to spend $2 million to $3 million on technology and furnishings for the Parkesburg facility, which will create about 30 new technology and nursing jobs.
