Honors, designations and recognitions


Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants named Ashante Bratcher, John J. Kaschak, Rebecca A. Price and Benjamin J. Ritenour to its 40 Under 40 Members to Watch for 2012-13 list in recognition of demonstrated leadership skills that will propel their success. Bratcher is a senior auditor with The Hershey Co.; Kaschak is director of the bureau of audits with the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget's Office of Comptroller Operations; Price is corporate controller and budget director of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts; and Ritenour is corporate controller and office manager of Binkley & Hurst LP in Lancaster County.


The Community of Lebanon Association named Frank Heilman its Business Person of the Year. He is a longtime association member and a member of the board of trustees and chairman of the image and beautification committee for many years. He has been active in the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Lebanon County, Lebanon Family Health Services and the Lebanon Rescue Mission. A Lebanon pharmacist since 1957, he also has donated services, supplies and guidance to the Lebanon Free Clinic. Deacon Richard Wentzel received the 2012 Lester Leffler Volunteerism Award in recognition of his many years of service to a variety of organizations and businesses in Lebanon County.


Control Design magazine gave Red Lion Controls a 2012 Readers' Choice Award for its panel meters, based on questionnaires completed by magazine subscribers.

Real estate

Toronto-based Prudential Real Estate Network recognized several offices of Manor Township-based Homesale Real Estate Services Group Inc. for the number of sales closed during the second quarter of 2012. The Carlisle office ranked No. 2 among offices with 20 or fewer sales professionals in the northeastern U.S.; the Chambersburg office ranked No. 2 among offices of 21-40 sales professionals; and the Manheim Township office ranked No. 3 among offices with 76 or more sales professionals. Affiliate Bob Yost Homesale's Eastern Boulevard office ranked No. 1 and the Kenneth Road office ranked No. 2 among offices with 41-75 sales professionals. In Pennsylvania, the Craig Hartranft team in the Manheim Township office ranked No. 2 in closed residential sales and No. 3 in revenue.
