Dauphin County-based Traffic Control Services, which does business as Flagger Force, has announced the opening of its new headquarters in Swatara Township.
In July, the traffic-services company closed on the purchase of the former Arcus staffing facility at 8170 Adams Drive. The move gives the growing company more space to further its mission of becoming a national leader in work zone safety.
Flagger Force is moving its leadership and management team to the 28,000-square-foot facility, as well as accounting staff, information technology, claims and sales teams.
Its Lower Swatara Township base for the last three years will remain open for Harrisburg operations and warehouse teams, the company said. It also will become a new flagship branch to serve as a training center for future branches.
Flagger Force posted 2011 revenue of nearly $27 million, according to Business Journal records. It is one of the fastest-growing companies in Central Pennsylvania with nearly 1,000 employees.
Flagger Force serves more than 500 active customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Its client base is made up mainly of large utility companies and contractors.
