Kathie's Christmas & Collectibles in Cumberland County has agreed to sell its store and website to York County-based Christmas Tree Hill Inc., said Bill Hughes, Kathie's chief financial officer and chairman of the board.

Hughes and his wife, company President Kathie Hughes, are retiring.

They expect to close on the transaction for the 32-year-old business, formally Kathie's Christmas Ltd., around the end of December, he said.

The store will operate under the Christmas Tree Hill name but the website will keep the Kathie's name, Hughes said.

The retirement sale at Kathie's will continue, and the last day before the changeover is scheduled for Dec. 29, he said.
