Cumberland County puts budget on view
The Cumberland County commissioners today put their $74.5 million preliminary budget on view for the public.
The proposal includes a 12 percent property tax increase. Commissioners say that’s a starting point for negotiations on a final budget to be approved in December.
The budget’s expenditures are about $123,000 less than in 2012, according to the document.
