Closing the gap

The Manufacturers' Association of South Central Pennsylvania's Dana Dehoff recently showed the Business Journal around its Manufacturing Training Center at New Concept Technology Inc. in Manchester Township, York County.

The center has more than 140 people registered for its apprenticeship programs, an effort aimed at helping companies train new workers to close the skills gap that manufacturers have been concerned about as the industry begins to grow again in the midstate.
