Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra performs Rachmaninoff’s RhapsodySaturday-Sunday: The Forum, Harrisburg

Stuart Malina and the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra open their season with Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.”

Prize-winning pianist Alon Goldstein will make his debut with the orchestra on the piece.

The orchestra also will perform Strauss’ “Don Juan” and Schumann’s “Rhenish” symphony.

Concert times are at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Truman Bullard, professor emeritus of music at Dickinson College, will provide a preconcert lecture for all ticketholders before both performances.
