New Jersey-based consumer products company Church & Dwight Co. Inc. has completed its $650 million acquisition of Avid Health Inc., according to a news release.

Church & Dwight, which has a facility in York County, announced in August the deal to buy Avid Health, with its leading adult and children’s gummy vitamin brands Vitafusion and L’il Critters.

Last month, the company said it was issuing $400 million in notes to help pay for the acquisition. It also used commercial paper and cash for the transaction, the release stated.

Church & Dwight manufactures and markets personal care, household and specialty products under the Arm & Hammer brand and other trademarks, according to the release.

Shares of the company are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CHD.
