Construction has begun on the Holy Spirit Progress Center outpatient facility in the Capital Center business park.

On Sept. 12, Holy Spirit Health System will kick off the project with a 10 a.m. ceremony at the location, 20 Capital Drive, Susquehanna Township.

According to a news release, the 30,000-square-foot building is expected to open early next year, and Holy Spirit plans to lease most of the building from the site developer, Szeles Capital Development LP.

Holy Spirit will use the new facility to consolidate services currently offered at Holy Spirit Colonial Park Center, 4230 Crums Mill Road, and imaging services and Capital Cardiovascular Associates, 5 Capital Drive.

Progress Center will also be home to Holy Spirit's second sleep-study center.
